Public Service Events

The members of Sault Search and Rescue are always happy to spend time educating and talking to people about enjoying the outdoors safely.  A few hours spent making sure that your outdoors adventures go smoothly can easily save a potential search lasting many hours or days!

We attend many public service events, from Police Week to Emergency Preparedness Events to Community events like the Canada Day fireworks.  We are there, ready to spread our skills and experience or to provide public support in case of emergency.

We have a team available to present Hug-A-Tree and AdventureSmart discussions.  These age appropriate presentations are geared to educate and prepare anyone from 5 years old to 99 years old be able to enjoy our great outdoors safely.  Contact our AdventureSmart Coordinator to discuss how we can participate in your event.

Also, we are always more than happy to host groups at our Rescue Building.  From School tours to youth groups, come see what Sault Search and Rescue is ready to repsond to any emergency with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
